1956 Japan’s first Coca-Cola bottler, Tokyo Beverage Co., Ltd. (later renamed Tokyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd.) established
1957 Delivered Coca-Cola to the first private customer in Japan
1960 Nichibei Beverage Co., Ltd. (renamed Kitakyushu Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. in 1973; now Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc.) established
1961 Chukyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. established
1962 Sendai Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Fuji Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Tone Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., and Kinki Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. established
1963 Mikuni Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Shikoku Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Sanyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., and Minami Kyushu Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. established
1964 Mikasa Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. established

2001 Fuji Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. and Chukyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. established parent company Coca-Cola Central Japan Co., Ltd. through stock transfer and integrated management
2002 Coca-Cola West Japan Co., Ltd. acquired Mikasa Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. as a wholly owned subsidiary 2003 Introduced community contribution vending machines

2009 Coca-Cola West Holdings Co., Ltd. absorbed Coca-Cola West Japan Co., Ltd., Kinki Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., and Mikasa Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd.
