Jun. 2001 Fuji Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. and Chukyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. established the parent company Coca-Cola Central Japan Co., Ltd. through a stock transfer and integrated management.
Jan. 2005 Fuji Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. and Chukyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. were absorbed and merged.
Jul. 2013

Integrated management through a stock exchange making Mikuni Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Tokyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., and Tone Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. wholly owned subsidiaries.

Implemented a company split to transfer the main business of beverage and food sales to the newly established Coca-Cola Central Japan Co., Ltd.

Changed the trade name to Coca-Cola East Japan Co., Ltd.

Mikuni Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. absorbed Tokyo Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Tone Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., and Coca-Cola Central Japan Co., Ltd.

Coca-Cola East Japan Co., Ltd. absorbed Mikuni Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd.

Apr. 2015 Acquired shares of Sendai Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd. and made it a subsidiary.
Jan. 2016 Absorbed Sendai Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd.
Apr. 2017

Coca-Cola West Co., Ltd. executed a stock exchange to make Coca-Cola East Japan Co., Ltd. (now Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc.) a wholly owned subsidiary and integrated management.

Coca-Cola West Co., Ltd. implemented a company split to transfer its main business to the newly established Coca-Cola West Co., Ltd. and changed its trade name to Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (later changed to Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Holdings Inc. in January 2018).

Dec. 2017 Acquired shares of system function companies: Coca-Cola Customer Marketing Co., Ltd., FV Corporation, Coca-Cola Business Sourcing Co., Ltd., and Coca-Cola IBS Co., Ltd., making them subsidiaries.
Jan. 2018

Coca-Cola West Co., Ltd. absorbed Shikoku Coca-Cola Bottling Co., Ltd., Coca-Cola West Products Co., Ltd., and Coca-Cola West Vending Machine Service Co., Ltd.

Coca-Cola East Japan Co., Ltd. absorbed Coca-Cola West Co., Ltd. and changed its trade name to Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc.

Made Resources Co., Ltd. an equity-method affiliate.

Reorganized subsidiaries engaged in sales and vending businesses by business category, establishing Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Vending Inc., FV Japan Inc., Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Sales Support Inc. (now Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Business Services Inc.), and Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Benefit Inc.

Jan. 2022 Acquired 100% of shares of Bannai Liquor Store Co., Ltd., making it a subsidiary.
Jun. 2022 CCBJI INSURANCE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. established
Jan. 2024 A joint venture “NeoArc Co., Ltd.” established with Accenture Co., Ltd., making it a subsidiary.
Jan. 2025

A joint venture “onEQuest Co., Ltd.” established with Thinkran Holdings Co., Ltd., making it an equity-method affiliate.
