Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc.

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter “CCBJI”) concluded on November 8 (Mon) a Comprehensive Collaboration Agreement with Kosai City (Mayor Takeshi Kageyama), Shizuoka Prefecture, in efforts to further improve public services and vitalize the community.

Under this Agreement, CCBJI and Kosai City will work together in diverse areas, including SDGs initiatives; promotion of tourism, inbound visitors, and other community vitalization efforts; welfare and child rearing programs; and health and sports measures; thereby jointly enhancing public services.

To be specific, we will place our vending machines at a public funeral home “Kosai City Arai Saijo Yasuragien”, Arai Gymnasium, and other sports facilities and use part of the proceeds for joint initiatives. To begin with, we will partly use the proceeds to create and manage a Wi-Fi environment at Kosai City Arai Saijo Yasuragien so that we can contribute to the enhancement of the citizens’ communication means and convenience.

Under our corporate philosophy, “Paint it Red!”, we aim to fulfill our “mission” to deliver happy moments to everyone while creating value; work on CSV (Creating Shared Value) through our core business to address community challenges; and continue to join hands with various partners going forward.
