CCBJI Receives IT Award (Management Category)

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Minato, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO Calin Dragan)is pleased to announce that the company has been selected as recipient of the IT Management Award of the Japan Institute of Information Technology (JiIT) Information Technology Awards 2022.

The Information Technology Awards are an annual program organized by JiIT to recognize companies and organizations that have made significant achievements in business innovation using IT at an advanced level. Such achievements includebuilding and promoting effective business models that facilitate or evolve specific areas of business in the public and private sectors. In the management category, efforts to contribute to the performance of existing businesses and to improve the status of the Information Systems department within the company were evaluated.

Our IT department is committed to improving business processes through partnerships with relevant departments. We received the IT Management Award in recognition of activities across the value chain, from manufacturing and logistics to customer support. Special mention was given to the visualization of manufacturing information at each plant, the automation and digitization of the Saitama and Akashi Mega DC logistics facilities, and the work style reform of the Customer Contact Center.

We will continue to work on improving business processes while leveraging IT technologies with the aim of achieving our mission of delivering happy moments to everyone while creating value.
