Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter “CCBJI”) and Takamatsu City (Mayor: Hideto Onishi) held a signing ceremony on Monday, February 17 for a Comprehensive Agreement on Collaboration and Cooperation at the 4th floor of Takamatsu City Hall.

This agreement was signed for the city and CCBJI to respond quickly and precisely to various regional challenges, revitalize the community, improve public services, and foster momentum for the Olympics and Paralympics. In particular, the city and CCBJI will cooperate in six areas, namely: Sports and Culture Promotion, Environmental Conservation, Industrial Promotion, Tourism Promotion, Safe and Secure Community Development, and Other Efforts to Revitalize the Community and Improve Public Services. Through these efforts, CCBJI will be working on activities for the people and city of Takamatsu to make them even more energized.

Continuing to uphold “community-based” as the corporate philosophy, CCBJI will come close to the people’s lives and daily livings, and contribute to local communities as a total beverage company that delivers happy, refreshing moments every day, and in every occasion of their lives.

【Comment by Mr. Hideto Onishi, Mayor of Takamatsu】

I’m very pleased that we signed the Comprehensive Agreement on Collaboration and Cooperation with Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan. I believe, in providing public services, it’s very important to collaborate and cooperate with businesses as they are engaged in various activities. Therefore, it’s really meaningful to sign this agreement with Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan, and we’re delighted about it. We’d appreciate your cooperation in operating cultural and sports projects, and also in other various fields such as environmental measures, industrial and tourism promotion.

【Comment by Kazutaka Ikeda, Head of Kinki/Shikoku Area Sales, CCBJI】

We’re always working on how to contribute to the people in the region as one of our tasks. Therefore, we’re deeply grateful we signed the Comprehensive Agreement on Collaboration and Cooperation with Takamatsu City. As Mayor Onishi said, torchbearers will be running through the city of Takamatsu on April 19, and all sorts of preparations are already underway. So, please feel free to talk to us and make suggestions as we hopefully contribute to the health and well-being of the people of Takamatsu, even just a little. We’ll think and work together with you and appreciate your continued support.
