Donation ceremony was held

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter “CCBJI”) held a ceremony to present a donation to Kagawa Prefecture based on its “Health Promotion Agreement” with the prefecture.

The donation was collected from the sales proceeds between April 2018 and March 2019.  The visit to Governor Hamada was to report the collected donation and hold a ceremony to present it.  During the ceremony, Kazutaka Ikeda, the Head of Kinki/Shikoku Area Sales, CCBJI, handed a list of donations to the governor, saying, “we hope this helps the promotion of health of the people in Kagawa Prefecture”, and Mr. Hamada expressed his gratitude in response.

CCBJI concluded the “Health Promotion Agreement” with Kagawa Prefecture in October 2017 for the purpose of leveraging its core business to resolve social problems under the philosophy of “Creating Shared Value: CSV”.  Pursuant to this Agreement, CCBJI provides Kagawa Prefecture with donations from part of the sales proceeds of the foods for specified health use, foods with functional claims, and products with rare sugar that are sold in Kagawa, in support of the prefectural initiatives against life-style related diseases.

As a community-based company, CCBJI will continue to support Kagawa’s health promotional activities.
