“Fukuoka Children’s Hospital Fundraising Vending Machine”　Placed in the West Sq. of Fukuoka City Hall Main Bldg. on Apr. 8 (Mon)

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President Calin Dragan) on April 8 (Mon) placed the “Fukuoka Children’s Hospital Fundraising Vending Machine” in the West Square of the Fukuoka City Hall Main Building located in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, with understanding and cooperation of Fukuoka Children’s Hospital.

Amid the advance in the aging population and low birthrate, there is an increasing need to assist children who devote themselves to medical treatment and their families for the purpose of nurturing a healthy next generation. This effort is to respond to the social challenge like this in accordance with our corporate philosophy of “community-based.” When a customer purchases a soft drink on the vending machine, part of the proceeds will be used to assist the children who are persevering with medical treatment and their families which support them. Going forward, by expanding this fundraising vending machine to all over Fukuoka City wishing for a bright future of all the children and their families, we will publicize our assistance activities for the Children’s Hospital.
