Ehime Prefecture has been promoting community-based food bank activities since 2021, with the aim of effectively utilizing unused food from the food manufacturing industry; the donation of products to e-Work Ehime is one of these activities. Since 2016, CCBJI has been donating our products to food bank organizations in various regions across Japan, and now, in support of the community-based food bank activities promoted by Ehime Prefecture, we have decided to regularly donate our products to food bank organizations in Ehime as well. The Coca-Cola products donated by CCBJI will be provided to children's cafeterias and welfare facilities in Ehime Prefecture through e-Work Ehime.

In accordance with our corporate philosophy, collectively represented by the motto, “Paint it RED! Mirai o nurikaero (Let’s repaint our future)”, CCBJI aims to fulfill our mission to “deliver happy moments to everyone while creating value”, and will continue to join hands with various partners going forward to work on creating shared value in order to address the challenges faced by local communities through our business activities.

Since 2016, CCBJI has partnered with 24 organizations (Note 1), including Second Harvest Japan (member of the Alliance of Japan Foodbanks), which was Japan’s first food bank organization, and the Food Bank All Japan Association, to donate our beverage products on a regular basis to children’s cafeterias and various welfare facilities, etc. through food bank organizations in different regions. “Food banks” are organizations or activities aimed at delivering food to welfare facilities and people in need, by receiving food marked for disposal despite a lack of quality issues as donations from corporations. In addition to this, the prefectural government, food manufacturers, and food bank organizations are working together on food bank activities to make effective use of unused food products from the food manufacturing industry.
