Notice of price revision for large PET bottle products
Effective from 2022 May 1, shipment

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO Calin Dragan) today announced revisions to the shipping price for our large PET bottle products (1.5L & 2L, excluding some products) effective from May 1, 2022 .

The economic recovery in the wake of COVID-19 has led to a price surge in raw materials worldwide. This trend is forecast to continue for the foreseeable future.

As a result, we have been making the utmost efforts to absorb the impact of soaring prices and distribution costs. We have been improving efficiencies across our manufacturing and operations. We have also reduced expenses throughout our business activities. Despite this, market conditions make it impossible to continue absorbing the impact of increased costs through our corporate efforts alone. As a result, we will revise the shipping prices of our large PET bottle products (1.5L & 2L, excluding some products). The revision will be effective from May 1, 2022, for deliveries to mass merchandisers and online channel.

1. Products subject to the price revision

Large PET bottle products (1.5L & 2L) with some exceptions, with shipping price revision rate of approx. +5-8% (depending on the product).
