Donating part of proceeds to Sagamihara City’s SDGs programs With a concept, “Everyone can easily contribute to the SDGs”!

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter “CCBJI”) installed “Sagamihara SDGs Promotional Vending Machines” at nine firms and groups in Sagamihara City (Mayor Kentaro Motomura; hereafter “Sagamihara City”), Kanagawa Prefecture in September 2021, as a “Sagamihara SDGs Partner” (Note 1).

Under the concept, “Everyone can easily contribute to the SDGs”, Sagamihara SDGs Promotional Vending Machines were placed in cooperation between Sagamihara City and CCBJI, as their 2nd initiative followed by "Food Loss Prevention Vending Machine" (Note 2) installed at Sagamihara SDGs Partner firms and groups, and part of the proceeds will be donated to Sagamihara City for its programs that are aimed at the promotion of SDGs. 

Under our corporate philosophy, “Paint it Red!”, we aim to fulfill our “mission” to deliver happy moments to everyone while creating value; work on CSV (Creating Shared Value) through our core business to address community challenges; and continue to join hands with various partners going forward.

The first Sagamihara SDGs Promotional Vending Machines were installed at the following Sagamihara SDGs Partner companies and groups:

Designated as a "SDGs Future City” and in line with the SDGs philosophy, Sagamihara City addresses local issues and strives to create such sustainable city that “leaves no one behind”, while seeking “Sagamihara SDGs Partner” companies and groups who will work together towards that end.   As a company having one of its business sites, Sagamihara Sales Center, in Sagamihara City, we registered as a Sagamihara SDGs Partner this year in support of the objectives of the initiatives.
