Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Group decides to implement workplace COVID-19 vaccination

Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter "CCBJI"), in compliance with the government policy on "workplace vaccination" for COVID-19, will implement workplace vaccination from June 30th as soon as it is ready, aiming to contribute to the acceleration of the vaccine rollout and the early acquisition of group immunity, and the resuming of economic activities.

Vaccinations will be administered at CCBJI's Tokyo/Akasaka Office, Fukuoka/Fukuoka Office, Osaka/Senrioka Office, Aichi/Nagoya Office, and Saitama/Okegawa Office. CCBJI Group employees (including those indirectly employed) and their families are eligible for the scheme.

To allow employees who desire to receive the vaccination to flexibly secure time, CCBJI permits such employees to receive a shot even during their work hours, and exempt them from work during such time. And if such employees become unwell due to side effects of the vaccine on the day of receiving the vaccine and find it difficult to work, they are eligible to take a special paid leave for the day. If they become unwell on the following day or later, they are eligible to take one day of special paid leave in principle.

■ Scheduled start date: After Jun. 30, 2021, as soon as it is ready

■ Locations of vaccinations: Tokyo/Akasaka Office, Fukuoka/Fukuoka Office, Osaka/Senrioka Office, Aichi/Nagoya Office, Saitama/Okegawa Office

■Eligible employees: Permanent employees, contracted employees, temporary staff, rehired employees, vendor staff, and part-time employees of CCBJI Group (Note)

■ Vaccinators: Partnered medical institutions
