Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director & President Calin Dragan; hereafter “CCBJI”) began accepting WEB reservations for the newly opened “Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Online Plant Tour” from June 7.
Since all Plant Tours are currently suspended to prevent further coronavirus infections (Note 1), we launched the new “Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Online Plant Tour” that allows customers who have been unable to visit our plant tours in person due to the COVID-19 restrictions or because of long travel distances, to experience and enjoy our Plant Tour remotely.
In addition to a guided tour highlighting the history of Coca-Cola, the manufacturing process of Coca-Cola products, environmental and recycling initiatives, and a quiz section to test your Coca-Cola knowledge, the Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Online Plant Tour provides content only available for viewing through the online tour, such as a video introduction of the new state of the art Hiroshima Plant that was newly built last year. Also at the end of the tour, participants have the opportunity to ask questions and chat in real time with the online tour guide.
As plant tours have also been used by schools for student field trips, we hope the Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Online Plant Tour also presents content that contributes to their education.
Note 1: We will inform you via our official website when the resumption of plant tours is decided.
