COVID-19 infections are still on the rise across Japan, and the pandemic has drastically changed people's lives. Especially after the declaration of a state of emergency in April, many people avoided outings and stayed at home, resulting in a surge of "household waste". This problem has been widely covered and reported by the media. Under these circumstances, it is the local cleaning professionals who diligently work on an enormous amount of waste and support people's living.
To honor such efforts, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. discussed with the association of special ward mayors to find "what we can do" for the cleaning professionals who are dedicatedly working every day and protecting our daily lives. As a result, we decided to offer 3000 cases of Coca-Cola products free of charge to the association of special ward mayors.
On July 10 (Fri), we had a ceremony to present the gift to the association. The products will be provided to cleaning agencies, plants, and offices in the special wards (the Tokyo 23 Wards) through the association.

We place the top priority on the well-being of all stakeholders and work on the vitalization of communities, with an aim to achieve our mission to "deliver happy moments to everyone while creating value.". We hope our assistance supports the cleaning professionals and delivers a message, "together we work to overcome the difficulties".
We will continue to work with diverse partners through our core business and address the challenges of communities in efforts to create a bright future.
