Notification of Voluntary Withdrawal of Certain Ayataka 650ml PET Bottles Manufactured at the Zao Plant

We have recently received a consumer complaint regarding the taste of a specific batch of Ayataka 650ml PET bottles produced at Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan’s Zao Plant.

To this date, our product investigations have shown no indication of health concerns associated with the consumption of this product.

This issue is limited to specific lots produced on the 650ml PET Ayataka production line at the Zao plant during a particular period. No similar issues have been reported with products made at any of our other production lines.

As a precautionary measure, we have suspended production on the affected line and are thoroughly reviewing the entire production process to identify the cause.

To ensure the highest quality and consumer safety, we are voluntarily withdrawing the affected product.
If you possess any of the affected products listed below, please follow the instructions through the link below or by scanning the QR code. Our designated delivery service provider will arrange for the collection of the product, and a pre-paid card will be issued to you later.

We sincerely apologize for any concern or inconvenience this may have caused.
