Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Group to conduct 3rd round of COVID-19 vaccination in the workplace

In compliance with the government policy on COVID-19 "workplace vaccination", Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. (Headquarters in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO Calin Dragan; hereafter "CCBJI") will implement the 3rd workplace vaccination from March 4 (Fri) as soon as it is ready, aiming to contribute to the acceleration of the vaccine rollout and to safe living and working environments.  

 
Following the workplace vaccination we provided between June and August of 2021, we will roll out the 3rd vaccination at our Tokyo/Akasaka Office, Saitama/Okegawa Office, Aichi/Nagoya Office, Osaka/Senrioka Office, and Fukuoka/Fukuoka Office.  Those eligible for this scheme include the employees and their families of CCBJI Group (including those indirectly employed) and partner companies, who have taken the vaccination twice and wish to receive the 3rd one. 
 
As we did for the 1st and 2nd shots, we allow the employees to receive the 3rd one even during their work hours and exempt them from work during such time in order to help them flexibly secure time for the vaccination. And if employees become unwell due to side effects of the vaccine on the day of the vaccination and find it difficult to work, they are eligible to take a special paid leave for the day. If they become unwell on the following day or later, they can take one day of special paid leave in principle.

■ Scheduled start date: March 4, 2020 (Fri), as soon as it is ready

■Location: Tokyo/Akasaka Office, Saitama/Okegawa Office, Aichi/Nagoya Office, Osaka/Senrioka Office, and Fukuoka/Fukuoka Office  

■Eligible employees: Permanent employees, contracted employees, temporary staff, rehired employees, vendor staff, and part-time employees of CCBJI Group (Note); employees of partner companies; and their families, who wish to take the vaccination.

■ Vaccinators: Partnered medical institutions
