On Thursday November 5, 2020, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan visited Child Affairs Bureau in the Fukushima prefectural office, and donated a portion of sales from "Yasashii Nansui Aquabona" to "Great East Japan Earthquake Fukushima Donation for Children".

Aquabona, gentle on all family members

The donation was made from a portion of the sales from "Yasashii Nansui Aquabona" manufactured in Zao Plant in Zao City, Miyagi Prefecture since March 2013, and sold in three prefectures of Miyagi, Fukushima and Yamagata.

Aquabona is a safe and reliable bottled water produced in Zao Plant with thorough quality control and water purification. It is suitable for drinking it by itself as well as for cooking such as rice cooking. It is also ideal for baby formula because it's ultra-soft water with a hardness degree 12.

For babies with immature digestive system, the hardness of the water they drink is an important element to ensure their health. Aquabona is gentle on delicate babies and is a safe drinking water for the whole family.

For the future of children

On March 11, 2011, many children living in the Tohoku region lost their families in the Great East Japan Earthquake. Reconstruction is making progress, but many people still live in shelters. It has been almost ten years since the Great East Japan Earthquake, but no matter how many years pass, the grief of the children who have lost their families will never heal.

In Fukushima and Miyagi Prefectures, in order for the children affected by the disaster to realize their dreams that they had before the disaster and to give them an opportunity to choose a career path they want to take, funds are reserved in "Great East Japan Earthquake Fukushima Donation for Children" and "Great East Japan Earthquake Miyagi Children Scholarship Fund" to provide long-term and continuous support to them.

Since 2013, Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan has been making donations every year to the "Great East Japan Earthquake Fukushima Donation for Children" and "Great East Japan Earthquake Miyagi Children Scholarship Fund" to provide support for the future of children.
