Mihara City in Hiroshima Prefecture, where the completion ceremony of the new Hiroshima Plant was held recently, is renowned for its beautiful nature with sea and mountains and its rich culture which has been cultivated over a long period of history.
Furthermore, it has a busy airport, station where Shinkansen bullet trains stop, and port, and boasts excellent transportation convenience. Therefore, the revitalization of local industries including tourism and an increase in nonresident population are expected.
Tourism offers a variety of tourist activities such as strolling around a castle town which is located near the station for Shinkansen bullet trains, enjoying the Seto Inland Sea cuisine in the area along the coast offering a view of Tatobi, and experiencing dairy farming, agriculture, and fishing around Hiroshima Airport.
