Coco-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. on June 1 concluded the "Agreement on Promotion of Host Town Program, etc." with Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture.

The agreement is intended to revitalize Yatsushiro City by taking advantage of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Torch Relay and the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, and the signing ceremony was attended by Hiroo Nakamura, Mayor of Yatsushiro City, members of the relevant department of the city office, and the relevant CCBJI employees.

In 2019, we installed the "Torch Relay Memorial Vending Machines" in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture for the first time in Kyushu. Through this new agreement, the parties agreed that the city will use part of the proceeds from the vending machines as funds for promoting sports in Yatsushiro City.
We will also provide support in various forms for the international exchanges related to the Host Town project implemented by Yatsushiro City in cooperation with the Taipei Olympic Committee and the Taipei Badminton Association and the creation of a lively local atmosphere through sports.
