Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan Inc. donated almost 5000 bottles of "Coca-Cola" slim bottle Tokugawa design to support "Iki-iki Ibaraki Yume Kokutai" to be held from Sept. 28.
The "Coca-Cola" slim bottle Tokugawa design was launched on Oct. 1, 2018, which marks the 150th anniversary of the surrender of Edo Castle. Designed in gold with the Tokugawa family crest, Aoi-no-Gomon, it is popular as a memento from a trip or as a souvenir.
On Friday, July 19, our Mito SC Manager Mitsuhiko Endo visited Mito City Hall and presented Mayor Yasushi Takahashi with a document describing our gift, together with the following message: "We wish to contribute to the success of this local event, Ibaraki Kokutai (sports festival)."
Under the slogan "Take off, spread your wings – towards the future," representatives from the respective prefectures will engage in a series of heated battles in the venues of Ibaraki from Sept. 28 to Oct. 8, and the drinks will be served at the visitor's drink corner, located in six venues around Mito City, to help raise momentum for the competition.
